I bought the Lifetime Alignment from Firestone recently and


they tried to charge me $12.95 for shop supplies. I told the guy at the register that I was not going to pay for that b/c an alignment doesn’t require supplies- just a turn of a couple of wrenches.

If you don’t watch out, they will clean your clocks. ASK QUESTIONS!

What I do is go to the dealership and ask around the shop who does side work (there is always someone who does) and get them to work on my car at their home. My current guy used to work at Honda for 12 years; he only charges me $50/hr. It’s a little more inconvenient but I know I’m not getting ripped off and dude is certified to do the work.

Let us know how this thing shakes out with the popo and this shop.
